Public art on Hillsborough Street

The City of Raleigh’s Public Art and Design Board approved RDG Dahlquist Art Studio to create site‐specific public art as a part of the Hillsborough Street Phase II project. In early October the six art piers along the corridor were completed.

On October 12, a car accident occurred that damaged the art pier on Shepherd Street. Due to the severity of the damage, the artwork will need to be replaced. The City is working to have the artwork replaced in as timely a manner as possible.
