Wings Over Raleigh is a new addition to Hillsborough Street that opened right in the midst of Phase II construction. “Hillsborough Street is where we want to be for NC State students, the group we’re trying to sell our food to,” said owner Ryan Malley. There are three Wings locations in North Carolina, all owned by brothers Ryan and Patrick Malley, but the franchise is nationwide. The new location in Raleigh is the “lucky number 37 store,” according to Ryan Malley.
They both started working at the Wings Over… franchise when they were in college at the University of Massachusetts, and now they own three stores in NC. A nationwide staple of the franchise is their $0 delivery fee, as well as their commitment to serving delicious, freshly prepared food. “We’re trying to be the fastest delivery service in Raleigh,” said Malley. “But we also want to make sure that the food we’re serving is top quality.”
Wings Over Raleigh opened last month on July 7 but is already a hit with residents for their affordable prices, the variety of flavors, and late hours. “Our top selling items are the boneless wings,” said Malley. “They’re fresh, never frozen, big and juicy and meaty,” This brand new location is located at 2900 Hillsborough Street and is open from 4 p.m. until 1 a.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. On Thursday they stay open until 2:30 a.m. On Fridays and Saturdays, they’re open from 11 a.m. to 3 a.m., and on Sundays, they are open from noon to 1 a.m.
“We have 27 awesome flavors. Open late, go State!” said Malley. Wings Over Raleigh is sure to become a staple of Hillsborough Street.
