Road Closures and Coffee Talks

Posted Tuesday, April 4

PSNC’s contractor ITS is finishing the gas line relocation work on Dixie Trail and Friendly Drive this week. Dixie Trail, at Hillsborough Street, is closed Monday, April 3, through Friday, April 7 and on Friday, April 7, they are scheduled to close Friendly Drive, at Hillsborough Street through the weekend with the street scheduled to reopen on Tuesday, April 11. Only the portion of Friendly Drive from the Hillsborough Street intersection to just before the Stanhope parking deck entrance will be closed.

Pipeline Utilities continues working with the City of Raleigh Public Utility Department in resolving a leaking watermain on Daisy Street. Daisy Street was shut down one afternoon this week while the contractor established the proper insertion valve size. The valve has been ordered, and plans are underway to make the necessary bypasses enabling the completion of the work in front of Daisy Street.

It is almost Coffee Talk time again. Join us on Tuesday, April 11, for a cup of coffee and some Hillsborough Street, Phase II construction news.

We encourage businesses owners, tenants and residents to attend the upcoming Coffee Talk on April 11, at 10 a.m. at the Stanhope (3001 Hillsborough Street). The Project Manager, Richard Dickie, will talk about the upcoming construction on the north side and what to expect. We will also be available to answer questions and hear your concerns, so please mark this meeting on your calendar.
