The City is holding the Hillsborough Street Ribbon-cutting ceremony during NC State’s Packapalooza Street Festival on August 25, at 3 p.m.
Hillsborough Street is one of Raleigh’s most iconic streets, home to major universities and businesses, and welcomes thousands of visitors every year. The Hillsborough Street Renewal Project has enhanced the area, making Hillsborough Street a more desirable and safer place to work, shop, dine and live.
To mark the completion of the Project, the City will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Brooks Avenue roundabout during NC State’s Packapalooza on Saturday, August 25, at 3 p.m. Mayor Nancy McFarlane is the featured speaker for the ceremony. She will be joined by Chancellor Randy Woodson and Raleigh City Council Member Kay Crowder.
