On Tuesday, November 15, crews will pave the road at the crossing in front of Stanhope and then on Thursday, November 17 they will patch the road at the location of the new fire hydrant near the State Employees Credit Union.
The street is scheduled to be closed while this work is being completed. Westbound through traffic will be detoured to Brooks Avenue to Wade Avenue to Faircloth Street, and eastbound traffic will be detoured to Faircloth Street to Wade Avenue to Brooks Avenue.
The street is open to local traffic, and businesses along the Hillsborough Street corridor that are open during this time of night are accessible throughout the detour.
During the daytime, hours paving operation will begin on Thursday in front of the Stanhope building and then will move to just above Sub Conscious running to Stanhope Avenue. This work will take place behind the barricades.
